The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has released a questionnaire for licensees. This questionnaire aims to:

• Gather information to create current “Status of the Sector” reports.
• Assist with upcoming market reviews to assess the effectiveness of competition within the ICT sector.
• Fulfill South Africa’s reporting requirements to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The deadline for licensees to complete and submit the questionnaire is September 12th, 2013. To help with filling it out, a guideline has also been published.
