ICASA to Dispose of Confiscated Equipment
ICASA is planning to dispose of electronic equipment seized by their inspectors between 2000 and June 2018. This equipment cannot be certified for use in South Africa according to Section 35 of the Electronic Communications Act (ECA).
If you had equipment confiscated by ICASA, you can object to its disposal.
You have until September 17th, 2018 to submit a written explanation to the ICASA regional office where your equipment was seized. Details on how to contact the specific office are included in a separate notice
