ICASA is seeking input for the third meeting of the ITU Expert Group on the International Telecommunication Regulations (EG-ITRs), scheduled for September 17–18, 2020. This meeting will focus on a detailed examination of Articles 5–8 and Appendix 1 of the 2012 ITRs. Stakeholders are asked to complete the Examination Table during their review and respond to any questions provided. This feedback will help the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies, as well as ICASA, to prepare informed contributions that reflect the commercial and regulatory ICT landscape of South Africa for the EG-ITRs meeting.
Please submit the requested information by 4:00 PM on September 1, 2020, to BMakola@icasa.org.za.

This meeting will focus on a detailed review of the preamble and Articles 1–4 of the 2012 ITRs. Stakeholders are asked to complete the Examination Table and respond to the questions provided. Your feedback will help the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies and ICASA make well-informed contributions that reflect South Africa’s commercial and regulatory ICT landscape.
