ICASA is inviting public comments on proposed changes to its list of required standards for electronic devices and communication equipment.

New technical standards for electronic equipment and communication facilities are now in effect, as defined by ICASA’s latest regulations.

Revised official list of Regulated Standards for Technical Equipment and Electronic Communications Facilities

These Revised Official List came into force on 9 September 2015.

ICASA announced plans to update the Official List Regulations 2010 by including specific technical standards. Their authority for this action comes from sections 4(4) of the Electronic Communications Act (ECA) and 4(3)(j) of the ICASA Act.
