BBI has announced a new call for proposals under phase 2 of the Broadband Access Fund (BAF) initiative.

Request for Proposals: Internet Service Providers, Fibre Network Operators, and Mobile Virtual Network Operators are invited to form a panel of service providers capable of delivering subsidized broadband internet access to communities and public Wi-Fi hotspots across various district municipalities within a six-month timeframe (RFP INF/TEN).

Broadband Infraco (BBI), as the executing body for the Broadband Access Fund (BAF), has announced a tender invitation for the selection of a panel of ISPs, FNOs, and MVNOs. The purpose is to provide internet and broadband services to communities and public Wi-Fi hotspots across various provinces nationwide for a duration of thirty-six (36) months.

This initiative is part of the implementation of the SA Connect National Broadband Plan.
